"The room was not as clean as I’ve experienced. I could’ve dealt with it but then the AC unit. It was either on full blast or off and hot. There was no in between. Then there was the bed itself. I couldn’t sleep; it was terrible. The bed sloped and the pillows were so puffy. I felt so uncomfortable. The worst stay from my long vacation. Barely slept. The rug was filthy with stains. Felt like I couldn’t step on the rug. Let alone touch the remote for the toilet. The mirror in the bathroom wasn’t cleaned before our stay, so what else was not cleaned."

"Loved the room. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept great! The bathroom was clean and everything worked great. The bathroom is very dated and not visually appealing. I’ve stayed in a couple other graduate hotels and the bathrooms were much better. These need updating. But everything else was fantastic! We loved the big closet, space to spread out and the view was good. The staff were incredible! Very kind, thoughtful and helpful. We plan to come back next time we are in Providence."

"We booked this hotel because our previous stay had been great. This time, however, we were assigned a room that simply should not be a hotel room. It should be storage. It was/is stationed directly above the Boombox Bar (actual name). It was impossible to sleep in the room until the bar closed at 2:00am. There were no other rooms to move to and we didn't realize the situation until it was too late to change hotels. It was far too expensive of a room to not be able to use it. The AC unit was also faulty and screamed like an alarm when on."

"The room smelled of smoked cigarettes immediately after walking in, the window was open with no screen, small pieces of tobacco on the bed, flies in the room, vandalized furniture, and general occupancy."

"Everything from check-in and staff, to the large, clean, newly updated room was amazing! Even the valet was great, pricing is a little high at $42, but I guess for a downtown location that’s pretty standard. The only thing I would change is that they only serve breakfast until 9:30 AM, which I thought could be a little later- especially on a Sunday! Overall, a very nice day and we will be back!"
