Top Providence Hotel Reviews

Hotel Providence
6/10 Okay
"I've stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years and it just seems to get worse every time. They went from a great sit down breakfast to self serve hot food to a bowl of cereal. The restaurant/bar being closed on weekdays is just bizarre."

Hilton Garden Inn Providence
10/10 Excellent
"This was a nice hotel in a surprisingly good location. If you don't have harbor view, your view isn't going to be so great -- but that was the main downside. Otherwise, it's right next to a lovely park: you just walk outside, and there's a prime area for bayside walking, running, frisbee, playground for kids, fishing, etc. The lobby and bar feel like they're part of a much more upscale hotel, partly because of the waterfront view. The staff were all excellent, and the room included a microwave, which was really helpful! "

Omni Providence Hotel

"Room clean but VERY NOISY"

Aloft Providence Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"The most helpful and friendly staff! I stayed for the Providence marathon and they helped in so many ways. Every staff member was kind and accommodating despite the popular travel times making it even more busy than usual"

Michie Hostel
4/10 Poor
"I wouldn't reccomend staying here as a female solo traveler or couple. Although most things are fairly similar to the pictures, it is true that you need to read reviews carefully and know what to look for. There were strange sounds coming from some of the rooms that were somewhat concerning. The lock on the door to our room was not secure. The bathrooms were very well out of shape and provided little to zero privacy. If you plan to shower, bring a bathing suit as there is no curtain with a see-through glass door the second you walk into the bathroom.
The kitchen was not well maintained, and looked as though it had not been cleaned in a long time. The cherry on top of the experience was that although there were no bedbugs, it was apperant the sheets had not been changed since the last guests with hair and old skin in the bed. I have to say that my partner and I arrived late in the night, and left as early as we could.
Spend the extra $30 to pay for safety and clealiness."

The Beatrice
10/10 Excellent
"The Beatrice manages to nail the essence of Euro-chic, welcoming, understated luxury travel and stands heads above anything else in Providence. From the spotless, elegantly appointed rooms, unobtrusive but responsive service, and helpful staff - it’s clear that each detail of the guest experience has been carefully selected and, more importantly, continuously maintained. Room design shows luxurious touches throughout (robes, finishes, towels, linens, curtains, coffee, chocolates, steamer, toiletries) but does not overwhelm — they comfort, quietly. WiFi works — simply and well. Room temperature controls are precise and effective. Whimsical and humorous references to the hotel’s eponymous human inspiration (Bea) abound. It’s always clean and being cleaned. Even the valets are friendly and helpful. I have stayed at more than a thousand hotels around the world and The Beatrice is ‘global class.’ Recommend staying if coming to Rhode Island and you crave that ‘home away from home’ feeling. It’s the ‘little things’ as a package that can make or break a guest experience at a fine hotel and The Beatrice did not disappoint on my three night stay in early May 2026."

Graduate by Hilton Providence
8/10 Good
"Billing and front desk were not helpful. "

Providence Marriott Downtown
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, the shower was very hot, and the beds were comfortable, not much of a view, but that was ok
The room was quiet at night
The temperature of the room was hard to control
The staff was very friendly and helpful
The shuttle is a great way to get back and forth to downtown
The convenience store is a great addition to be able to grab a quick snack or drink
The indoor pool was very clean but cold
The hot tub was very small, and the jets were not working
Would stay again"

Extended Stay America Suites - Providence
4/10 Poor
"I was given the wrong room, the pictures advertising a lobby that doesn't exist. The area is suspicious, I'm surprised my car wasn't broken into. I think I got bit by bed bugs. Wifi was terrible. Everything listed as "included" was actually an extra fee."
