Disney Davy Crockett Ranch

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch and honestly couldn’t fault a thing! Our cabin was spotlessly clean, really comfortable and had everything we needed. The whole resort was fantastic, the facilities were brilliant, and the kids absolutely loved both the park and the swimming pool. Every member of staff we came across was friendly, welcoming and helpful. However, we have to give a very special mention to David and Helouise in the shop, who genuinely went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately, something we had bought that was exclusive to the Disney Parks was stolen from us during the fireworks. We were absolutely gutted, particularly because it was our last day and we no longer had park tickets, so we thought there was no way we would be able to replace it. David and Helouise were absolutely incredible. They took the time to help us and made it possible for us to briefly access the park on our final day purely so that we could purchase a replacement. They really didn’t have to go to the lengths they did, but they genuinely cared about helping us and turned what had been a really upsetting situation into such a positive ending to our trip. That level of customer service is something we will remember. David and Helouise are an absolute credit to Disney and Davy Crockett Ranch, and we really hope they receive the recognition they deserve for going so far above and beyond for our family."

"I’ll start with the good- pool was nice, shuttle to Disney was convenient, room was comfortable, including the pull out sofa. The shower was great, sheets nice. The lobby is a peaceful space that felt nice to walk into after long over stimulating Disney days. The not great- they provide large container soap and hair products in the shower. Both of ours were empty and never got refilled despite us staying three nights. So obviously this is not something they check? There were four coffee pods in the room on arrival. We drank them all the first day, and they never were refilled. There was no dish soap for the provided dishes, nor were there dish tabs for the dishwasher…so we were not able to wash our dishes (and the dishes in the cupboard were not really clean, covered in finger prints etc) They provided two disposable cups that we used night one (see dirty glassware comment). These were never replaced either. Daily housekeeping was making the bed and emptying garbage. Had we planned to cook, these things would have been very inconvenient. Last, there is no queue system for the shuttle to Disney. When it’s busy, it becomes a bit dog eat dog and can cast a bummer glow on your day. I hope they consider creating a queue system to make it fair and less stressful. Overall, the bad did not impact us because of the way we were travelling, and I would stay again. (we spent the summer staying in Airbnb so we were used to not having house keeping) but the bad is worth noting :)"

Aparthotel Adagio Serris - Val d'Europe

"Our room had a good view from which we could see the Frozen mountain and Disney hot air balloon. We chose to walk to the park each time and it took around 20 minutes on a well lit route. Staff were helpful and pleasant, speaking English well. Breakfast was adequate and a pleasant ambience, though McDonald's might have offered more "bang for your buck" in terms of what the cost hit you. Five negatives stick out to me - the door to one of the bedrooms wouldn't close, the lift refused to take us up on two occasions (and the stairwell door was locked?!), if we'd known we would have brought our own tea bags and coffee to make use of the kettle, the plug in the bathroom sink didn't seal and just before we were leaving a shelf in the bedroom fell out of the wardrobe and bruised my daughter's foot. That all said, I would recommend and would stay again if visiting Disneyland again."
