Great Hotel and Location.

Really nice hotel. The room was the premier Flint B, which had a comfortable queen bed and bunk beds for children. The terrace had a nice view of the bay. The only drawback was the steep stairs, but the bellhop carried up and down the bags. The hotel staff was very friendly, and everyone learned your name and it felt non-forced and like you knew them for a long time. I would suggest a drink at the bar in the evening with Ton Ton the bartender. I also thought the breakfast was excellent and that is because you order off a menu that gives you freshly made food instead of a buffet with cheap cold food - well done. We didn't dive, but as former diver it seemed to be a well set up place to do. I would highly recommend Atlantis.

Charming with a Caveat

An excellent hotel with just one small problem in that it is not possible to actually drive up to. Puerto Galera is a relatively small area with a lot packed into it (Bars, Clubs, Hotels, Restaurants etc) and as such if you arrive by car you have to park about 6 or 700 metres away in a public car park then walk the rest of the way with your luggage. Saying that, as soon as I realised this and contacted the hotel there was a staff member on hand within minutes who assisted us with the luggage. I you arrive by boat as a foot passenger directly to Puerto Galera and they are expecting you then staff will be their to assist likewise, I believe they can also meet you at Manila airport and escort you all the way to their hotel. Apart from this, an excellent hotel with a 'Flinstones' feel with regards to the décor. Excellent and friendly staff, always there to help. We didn't go there to dive but from what I saw they have a very efficient dive 'school' with excellent facilities and knowledgeable staff/instructors. All in all, one of the best, if not the best, hotels in Puerto Galera.

Good but overpriced

Atlantis is a solid and reliable hotel with good customer service, restaurant and on-site diving facilities. However it is clearly overpriced. They charge you extra for every little thing, like toothbrush in the rooms. Diving prices are the highest of all the 5-star PADI resorts in Puerto Galera that I went to. Conclusion: a good resort overall but you can find better value for the money. If I had to do it again, I would probably choose another resort.

Should have trusted the negative reviews this time

Let me start with the pros: Great night life around the corner. Diving shops all around as well. The food was also very good. Now for the cons: To paraphrase some previous reviews, this hotel sees you as a walking ATM. Upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted with a long list of rules of the hotel, no outside water for example (this will make sense later) and a variety of small but unwelcoming rules you don't expect when you are paying 2X the market price in Sabang village. As mentioned above, the hotel is 2-3x market price for everything, water will run you over $1 for tiny bottles, which are the only source of water in the resort (no outside water allowed). Diving is the largest disappointment. I went to this hotel with my team of 10 Filipinos that I wanted to initiate to diving. I was fine with the $85 USD per person but when I asked if i could do the open water dive with the team I was shocked to see how dishonest the dive team was. I had to pay full price for a dive $45 USD as well as $15USD for equipment rental and another $15USD for the dive computer which they claim is 100% mandatory for licensed divers (not true). In total I had to pay an additional $75USD for a 25 minute dive after spending $850USD on my team. I ended up going to the place next door. The dive cost me 1200PHP (under $30USD) for an hour and I was able to see my team. Beds are quite uncomfortable, the shower opens on the room, and the toilet is not very well ventilated.

施設自体は綺麗でよかったです。ただ、私とのタイミングが合わない点がありましたが、それでも４泊中２泊のみの清掃、バストイレについては一度も掃除がされなかった点がかなり不満でした。後、宿泊部屋の下がバーで夜１０時くらいまで音楽や酔っぱらいの声が大きく寝れませんでした。

Great Hotel for the area.

Rooms are very basic. Painted cement walls, foam mattress but clean. Great setup if you are planning to Dive. Part of the Hotel is right on the beach. Walk right onto dive boats. Excellent staff!!! Great experience

Extremely helpful staff. Lovely location and very clean. The diving was safe and professional with excellent dive facilities and kit rooms. I visited over Christmas and the place was decorated beautifully. Sadly, I got sick (not the resort's fault) so could not fully appreciate it. The staff were great - they even found me a doctor and nurse on Christmas day. The only issue I had was wifi. I needed it for work and booked this resort as it listed wifi available. This was not in the rooms, only common areas. Room coverage was poor and I never actually got onto the internet via the wifi. The staff were great - they upgraded my room to see if I got better coverage, but sadly it was not to be.

we stayed 3 nights at the atlantis, the area around the hotel has a lot of nightlife, i.e. girly bars and discos, you can here music till late from rooms
