While we were only able to book the shared bathroom rooms on hotels.com, the staff were able to upgrade us to a private room for a very small additional charge. This is a beautiful oasis right off the beaten path from busy downtown Puerto Viejo, but although it’s only a 6 minute drive from the town proper, you feel like you’re nestled in the jungle."
