"Clean room amd friendly staff."

"This is an older property without any modern touches—but it was clean, well-maintained, peaceful and the view from our balcony was spectacular. It was convenient having the the restaurant nearby which had a lively vibe, great food and staff— and a plaza with small shops a short drive away. "

"All of staff was very friendly through out the whole stay. Very accommodating when it came to extending day for late check out since my flight was at 9pm. Grounds were kept up even when first Kona low came through. "

"Partial ocean view as promised. Food good but not outstanding and food prices were ridiculously high ( $60) for breakfast buffet. It was nice but very busy and noisy at times because of so many people. Nice luxury hotel but didnt always feel like the relaxed pace we have expected from Hawaii."

"We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I loved how we were sent text messages of any updates or information on daily activities. Looks slightly outdated but currently under renovation. The food and drinks were great. We Will stay here again. "

"Everything was beautiful! We were so grateful to have the full kitchen as we were there during a recent Kona Low storm. Beautiful beach and view of the ocean. Lanai was wonderfully furnished and covered, so we could enjoy the outdoors in the rain! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"I came to Hawaii to relax and enjoy my vacation, but unfortunately the service I received did not reflect the level of hospitality I expected. Service was disappointing and far below the standard expected for a destination known for hospitality. Staff members were rude and management did nothing to correct situations. "

"Overall, a nice place to stay. Room was nice. Pools were nice. Right on a good section of beach. Free valet services, but the valets were hard to find at the desk and a little slow. It also does seems a little odd that they’re still not cleaning rooms as if we are still worried about Covid. Not even an offer to clean the room or replace towels, soap, toilet paper, etc in the week we were there. Also, a little odd that you keep the “spa” in your name when it is shut down and not opening...

"They charge extra for parking, which is on top of the $40 a day resort fee and taxes. The property is nice, but the pool is unclean. Great location!"

"Rooms need updating but were clean. Resort fees were exorbitant, especially considering that beach chairs were only available for rent. Not sure what “resort fees” covered other than just being another money grab."

"We liked the property. The condo itself was very nice and we were pleased with everything except for the air conditioning. It wouldn’t cool the entire space. The evenings were quite hot and we were required to keep the small window unit on 74 at all times which we did. We had no idea where to drop the trash, and very little info on how to exit. Had a hard time finding the laundry rooms and had to get help on how to pay, plus we were yelled at for accidentally moving our chairs across the...

" The room didn’t really have a balcony, just a very narrow space about 12” wide that you could stand on, no chairs would fit. Also, the ocean view was very very small. These two things were very disappointing since the room was advertised as having a balcony. Our room smelled heavily like marijuana when we first arrived, and the toilet had not been cleaned. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told they were at 98% capacity, and there were no comparable rooms. So the value for what we paid...
