"Wonderful! Credits to Hannah and Winnah who were so caring from checkin to our departure! We lost our luggage and they were so caring. Working with the airport staff and asking for updates and when we finally got the luggage back, they were so helpful and checked in with us to make sure we were okay! They also gave us great recommendations on where to buy the essentials when we got there without our luggage and we also wanted to mention the restaurant staff was very attentive as well. "we stayed here for one night,before visiting the orang utan the next morning. location is next to the orang utan plc and that's it.nothing else in the neighbourhood,unless u drive 30-45 mins to sandakan city. the only restaurant in the property close at 9pm so after you are basically trapped in the room. its not safe to even walk in the property at night,its dark and we are in the jungle. the property needsTLC maintenance,its run down. the pool close at 5pm but i will not use the pool,its...

Le ragazze sono gentilissime e si preoccupano di dare tutte le informazioni. Il cibo è fantastico! "I booked for my father. He said that the room soooooo narrow and smells bad. He doesn’t have a pleasant stay for the night and he don’t want to stay anymore at this hotel. He also mentioned, he told the reception that he will leaving early, and the receptionist overslept and took few minutes to woke them up. Terrible. "

Nothing immediately local but frequent local buses which run til 8.30/9pm back take you to Sandakan centre (RMS .70) where you can get good selection of foods and drinks. Lots of shopping malls. Sepilok(Orangutans and Honeybears) Labuk(Proboscis monkeys) Australian war memorial and Heritage trail were good. Only waste of time and money was Gomantong Bat caves. 4hrs from Sandakan, my camera could not get anything due to it's great size and darkness. Maybe nighttime...
