"Reception took a long time to answer our requests. Office not open when advertised. Mould on curtains. Bedding clean. Checking out was not easy. Was charged for an extra person when I booked in as 2 adults and 4 children. Would not recommend, as was not cheap. "

"Neat and tidy room, very friendly staff and super quiet place to stay. Bathroom is very small, but great water pressure. Centrally located and easy to find. Make sure you bring your own toiletries. Its the little things that could be improved on like dusting skirting boards and making sure there is enough coffee and milk for the occupants for the duration of their stay"

"Our room didn’t have an iron or board but when we approached staff we were provided with them immediately. Kitchenette has fridge with freezer, microwave, sink, crockery, toaster and kettle. Small table and chairs appreciated. Good location and great bed. "

"The beachcomber is a great getaway hotel - pool area is magic, right on the lake and makes you feel like you could be in Fiji. Room was large and beds comfy. Nicely renovated. Breakfast was good, delicious coffee and option of eggs. We will def return! Tip- get a lakeview room"
