The Coral Bay property itself is new and absolutely beautiful. With that being said, there are a few things that were disappointing. We stayed 4 nights and had a two bedroom unit. 1) There were ONLY 2 bath towels in the whole unit. No hand towels or wash cloths at all. No kitchen towels, nothing. So you’ll be using your bath towel to dry your face, hands etc. I asked about it and was told housekeeping would be notified. Housekeeping never came. 2) Spare bedroom toilet had pubic hairs and yellow on the toilet seat and I was told it was varnish. I didn’t feel like finding out! 3) pulled sheets down in master bed and there was a long black hair in plain site below the pillow. No one ever came to bring clean sheets. 4) YOU HAVE TO PAY TO USE ELECTRICITY 😳!!! There’s a daily charge and it’s metered!! So if you don’t turn off the A/C AND the water heater when you leave during the day, you can expect to come back to no electricity and will have to wait an hour or more for them to turn it back on. I have NEVER stayed somewhere, where electricity was not included in the price of the stay so this was a FIRST for me. Armando, our property rep, was super sweet. You can walk about 6 minutes to the hard rock but you can only access the casino area. The beach access was at Cana Bay. But be prepared for a 20 minute walk!! It’s $35 per person just to get in the gate and go to the beach.$35 to access beach and it goes towards your bill. Need a car for sure!

This oroperty is a fraud. They dont allow rentals. A rhird party contacts you to get your personal sensitive fata such as passports among others. They dont have an office. Upon arrival you are received by armed people who tell you that you are not welcome

The entire process of entry into the complex was nothing short of ridiculous. It took over 2 hours before I could gain entry. All because of an issue between the host and the booking site. When I entered the unit, it wasn’t even ready. The service person came in after I arrived to have it ready. When you’re in, you only have access to certain points, but not all. Would NOT recommend. There are cheaper places that can give you amenities more conveniently than here.

The Positives: The apartment looked exactly as pictured, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lovely pool. It felt secure, and the walking security guards were friendly and helpful. Two nearby restaurants delivered directly to the property, which was convenient. The Negatives: 1. Hidden Fees: The substantial electricity fee and day beach access fee pp per day not disclosed on Expedia. When I questioned the manager about this, he became upset, claiming no one would book if the fees were listed, and even threatened to cancel our reservation. 2. Poor Customer Service: Check-in was delayed by two hours because the staff didn’t realize we booked. Despite contacting them through Instagram, WhatsApp, and phone, they were unhelpful and blamed us for making a same-day booking, though Expedia allows it. The concierge failed to follow through on simple requests like clearing our driver for airport pickup or arranging towels, and instead tried to upsell us on a timeshare presentation. 3. Excessive Restrictions: Security measures were overly restrictive, requiring IDs and vehicle details in advance for deliveries, drivers, and tours. A scheduled tour was even denied entry, forcing us to walk out and meet them. 4. Flooding Incident: The washing machine hose broke, flooding the apartment. No one came to help, and we spent hours cleaning it ourselves. The next day, the concierge finally brought towels, framing it as a “favor.” If you want a relaxing vacation stick to the AI.

False advertising

False advertising. The room didn’t have any of the basic necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, hand soap, towels. We ended up buying our own! The room was not vacuumed. They charged us extra for electricity!! Nothing is close by, you need a car for this place. Close to the beach but you have to pay!

The property is very new and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed our stay there with some initial hiccups. Since the property is located within the Hard Rock Hotel, the security does not allow easy entrance to the property unless you show them your passport and a certificate showing you are staying there. Besides there are very few dining or shopping options around there. However, the property and the management were impeccable and friendly and our stay was memorable. I highly recommend the property for peace and relaxation. The club entrance on the other hand is expensive and only worth if you are going to spend an entire day there.
