"Lopesan experience was more than what I hoped for. Excellent service, a la carte restaurants were fabulous (something for everyone) and house cleaning staff went above and beyond. Would recommend this resort if you want to experience a first class vacation at a reasonable price. My grandson loved the water park and sports bar (hockey night in DR)."

"Room was nice, plenty of space for two adults two teens without getting a big suite. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with our bracelets getting into room the first night but after that no issues. Pool and beach seats do fill up fast, going out early to snag a seat seemed to be the norm, after first day we would go out early and then have breakfast at Panama or isla market right near pools. Also we sat in the sand one day as we didn’t see any chairs, within 5 minutes...

"Premium room wasn’t very clean, or ever dusted. Hard to get waters for your room or get your fridge restocked. TV was broken and I called and they never came to look at it. The workers knock very fast on the door and then just open it. The food was extremely terrible, especially the buffet. I got food poisoning and it ruined 3 days of my trip. Lived off of French fries and fruit. Buffet and restaurants are very unsanitary. Poolside service never brings you anything you order from them. The smell...

"Place was nice but some things was Broken such as outlets and fridges. Also the staff English is not well. They all say different things as far as times for dinner etc. But overall we enjoyed our trip."

"I was very disappointed with my stay, primarily due to the lack of basic communication and service. On our first night, there was no running water. Which meant no showers or no using toilets. Each time we called the front desk, we were told it would be back on in “10 minutes,” but it ultimately took four hours from the initial call. "Cons: Bathroom was dirty, shower head was broken, the entertainment staff were terrible. They didn’t engage anyone into doing anything, didn’t participate in 92% of activities, some of the staff were insanely rude. There was a roach that ran past the spice restaurant table, and staff don’t know how to handle complaints.
