"The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction.
The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach.
Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you."

"The hotel is not finish yet. there is no gym and the spa is not ready. It would be wonderful in the future but now it is to expensive for what they offer. The manager Audry is a lovley person."

"My wife and I found a little bit of paradise at Royal Mandarin Resort! Very very nice property. We booked this room for five nights following our Serengeti Safari in the hope of some beach relaxation. We got that and so much more!"

"Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay.
That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. In addition, the food unfortunately falls below expectations. Considering the price, the culinary experience could have been significantly better. This...

"Delightful boutique hotel on a nice and quiet beach. So nice to see the sunrise in the morning and the fishermen setting out to get their daily catch. The staff is friendly and service-minded often working quietly in the background to make sure you ’re taken care of. The food was surprisingly good. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. The only downside was that the beds were a bit on the hard side - and very squeaky :)"
