"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."

"This is a rather posh hotel on a restored old college campus. Currently, the area houses art studios, shops, music/art classes, restaurants, food trucks and a Michelin star rated wine bar. The area is very walkable and across from an incredibly beautiful park."

"Such a lovely place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The room and amenities are in excellent condition. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was warm and comfortable with the most amazing pillows. The room is very quiet and we hand a sound sleep. We will absolutely stay again."

"Booked and paid for a spa studio, no spa in the unit received and no one to talk to as reception is not open or manned. Struggled to understand check in process and then the batteries of the door opener were flat so attempts to open our unit failed . Rang after hours bell and after 3 times with no answer the person assured me they would come and fit new batteries. We waited 4 hours and then left as he never came. Saw other travellers arrive and struggling with the same check in process"

"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "

"Staff where awesome very helpful and kol to chat with. Sadly a group came in and they messed up the bathroom and showers up stairs. It was very stressful for the staff and other guests. The children where noisy and the group guests ip all night and morning they where very noisy. But the venue was kol and the Staff where awesome. I still recommend the venue to stay at"

"Excellent location. The host is awesome. Check in included a tour of the room, ammenities & an offer of help with our luggage. We went with the split level appartment which was great but you need to carry your bags up stairs. Location is close to the beach, shops & restaurants."
