Tommy at reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. It’s in a great location with lots of historical sites and restaurants and shops

Enjoyed our stay in this clean and convenient hotel. Room is small but you can move the bed up above your head and pull out a table (carefully - the legs kinda fall out) which was a neat experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an open kitchen space where you can make yourself breakfast.

Great hotel, wonderful usage of space, fully equipped kitchen available to all, washer and dryer available. Great restaurants and main palace walking distances. Wonderful staff helpful and courteous. I recommend it to anyone visiting old Quebec City! Fun and interesting hotel!!

This is a unique hotel right inside the walls of the old city of Quebec , walkable to the tour spot and to tour pick up spot . I called this unique and no wonder why it’s called atipiq hotel because it is atypical . It’s hard to explain how they utilized the space very well. You can also cooked at the common kitchen where you eat your self serve breakfast. You can re heat your left- over from restaurant. It’s a good experience hotel . I would stay here again if I visit Quebec in the future.

We liked the casual, non-stuffy atmosphere of the hotel. However the leisure area (the kitchen and dining area) is inadequate when guests are forced indoors by 3 days of non-stop rain. The bedroom was much smaller than we are used to in chain hotels. Even with the bed elevated and only one chair, it's claustrophobic and unwelcoming. Perhaps not the best choice for guests in their late 70s. A good choice for Millenials - 40-50 year-olds.

Be aware that the rooms are very compact. Bed very high and it raises to the ceiling to make more room. Breakfast was communal kitchen and have to prepare your own basic food and wash up afterwards. Location of hotel was good.

Room clean. Good self service kitchen that you can cook anytime if you don’t wanna eat out. Eggs, breads and milk are provided in the refrigerator for free. Great location. Close to everywhere in old Quebec.

What a pleasant surprise this little hotel was! All the staff were awesome, Selma, William, Tommy and Elena(sp?). So nice and friendly. The best surprise was the kitchen area. So very well stocked. A great way to start the day with coffee, toast and eggs. And not having to pay at a restaurant was a real saving. Plus the propane firepit lit every night and we could sit around with a glass of wine and enjoy each others company as well as other guests too. Very central to all that Old Quebec has to offer. I will highly recommend Hôtel Atypiq to anyone going to Old Quebec City! It was a great find and a very reasonable cost!
