My husband and I stayed here for one week. The Management and Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful individuals who made our stay a fun and memorable experience. Very bilingual staff. From the Manager, Daniel to the breakfast staff Lady and Glen, and all the housekeeping women, they were all incredible. They treated us like family! The breakfast was great despite the pesky monkeys, though enjoyable. An older but very well-maintained hotel, with beautiful decor, a courtyard, and a great swimming pool. Close to everything. Daniel was very knowledgeable of the area and events, he arranged several enjoyable day tours for us! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a short visit but the staff left us with an everlasting memory. Daniel was wonderful to accommodate us to check in an hour earlier. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The pool was refreshing. Thank you! We would surely visit again if we are in the area for a longer time.

Location of property is ideal for visiting the National Park/Beach. Property is multi-level with no elevators making it hard for older folks and for moving heavy luggage . Towels in the room are only replenished by exchanging at the front desk which is a huge inconvenience in case you need to hit the beach. The property does not provide any shampoo, conditioner, soap etc.

Another day in paradise
Our only complaint was that the beds were too hard. Otherwise we had a great stay at the hotel and a great experience at Manuel Antonio, truly a paradise to visit.

We booked this hotel because of the price even though we didn't see a lot of recent reviews and it didn't disappoint. It was clean, check-in was easy, breakfast was included and cooked to order. A great location that is close to a few restaurants, including the airplane bar so no need to drive when looking for a place to eat or get drinks. A two mile drive to Manuel Antonio Park or there is a bus stop that is very close to the hotel if you don't want to have to worry about parking when you get down there. The bus trip was 410 colones one way.

Never Again
We arrived to friendly greeting from Daniel. After we'd been given keys we were taken down to our room. We unpacked and my wife went to lay on the bed...only to find the bed was wet from the leaking roof. Apparently they quote 'have had a lot of rain' Unqoute. After Daniel made a phone call we were allowed to change rooms. Again we unpacked and then went out to dinner. The bedding here still had a damp feel to them. We awoke and showered.....no hot water, apparently is the norm for a lot of hotels in Costa Rica, but is not mentioned when booking. Over our three nights stay clothes which were by the small window area went mouldy and I gradually developed a cold. Breakfast was pleasant enough...but...the list they give you has all the prices presumably before they include it. When we asked for a slight variation we were told...quote ' that's extra' unquote...such as adding a sausage to the egg option or toast...but we were not allowed to have it or pay extra for it. There are plenty of places to stay in Manuel Antonio and would recommend spending your money elsewhere. Maybe it's different in the drier season but our experience was not great. I tried to add photos but the app won't seem to let me...

My stay here was alright. The toilet was not very cleaned. There was no hair blow dryer, there was no place in the restroom to put stuff on, there was no chair in the room, the room was VERY small, you could hear everything outside and noise from the other rooms as well, the sink was not secured to the wall so every time we would rest our hands on the sink while brushing our teeth, it would move out of place, it was horrible. The staff was great, breakfast was good, and great location.

Great little hotel with friendly staff (¡Gracias, Daniel, Ivania, y Glen!) and clean rooms. Breakfast was pleasant and the pool a refreshing bonus. Heads up that the shower water was lukewarm rather than hot, but many places have no hot water at all. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops, and the hotel is an easy bus ride to the Parque Nacional, the beaches, and Quepos. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome home away from home!
We had an amazing stay at Flor Blanca, we will definitely return if we are ever in Manuel Antonio again. Daniel the owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Also, the breakfast every morning was delicious. Lastly, the hotel is close to everything, and the bus can take you to Quepos for 380 colones. The bus runs about every 10 minutes and is reliable, and stops running at 9:30pm in Manuel Antonio/Quepos at 10:30pm. Thank you Daniel for a wonderful stay!

Daniel the live in manager was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our four night stay. Good breakfast and swimming pool. Rooms quite small and basic no hanging or storage space. Very quiet.

Great little hotel!
Perfectly located and very welcoming. The pool/breakfast area is a great place to relax and the staff are always very kind and attentive. Free parking on site, with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good facilities. A bit far from everything, but there’s a bus every 10 minutes for most of the day, so it works. Nice breakfast.

Simple and what we were looking for.
The place was perfect for what we were looking for. Walkable to a few restaurants, easy parking, great breakfast, super helpful staff, really nice pool, a refrigerator in the room, and a monkey or two for company at their leisure. I think it would be hard to stay here without a car but I did hear you can take a $1 bus to Quepos. If that’s the case, I’d stay here everytime.

Start by watch out if you are looking to book in this hotel. If you book you would not cancel the booking even if you do it by error. They would not refund you the money and Expedia cannon help. The hotel has a policy and they Are not flexible at all. Do not book here! There are better places to stay! Rooms are not well maintained, bathroom is outdated and water pressure is poor! My qualifications for this hotel is 3 of 10.

Good morning, thank you for your comment. We take our maintenance and guest services very seriously. Our guest experience at our property is very important to us. Regarding the water pressure on isolated occasions, it may be that due to the high demand for water in the area, the water pressure decreases, however for those cases we have a pump which we turn on when this happens, regarding the other comments that Mention, I don't know what you mean by outdated bathrooms, and we really do maintain the rooms daily. It is a shame that you give us such a low rating, the hotel was completely remodeled very recently.

Thank you Patricia for your comment on Hotels.com, regarding the cancellation policy you request to cancel the reservation with less than 5 days before arriving on the busiest days of the year, however we offered to make a 50% cancellation if we confirmed, however we never had a response from you. Even though it was not appropriate the hotel was willing to help you with this situation. Regarding the images of the room, the images are of rooms for the capacity offered, the day of the reservation the room is assigned, but all the rooms. Regarding the blankets and other supplies, we usually have more at the reception in case they require it, it is only to ask for it at the reception. Regarding the towels, we were changing them for new ones during this month and at this moment they are all changed. In any case, it was a pleasure to serve you and we appreciate all your suggestions in this regard.

Regarding the problem with the water pressure, sometimes it happens that not much pressure reaches the hotel, however we have a pump which we turn on when they inform us that the pressure drops, in the next occasion you could notify us to turn on the water drum

The staff was really helpful at all times! Just ask and they will gladly help you with attractions, buses and laundry! TV and AC in the room was perfect, and every night a new good movie was shown. Really Nice place!

Great location
Great place to stay. Clean and airy room. Decent shower. Lovely pool for cooling off after a hike. Great location. Easy walking distance to Manuel Antonio National Park, although the walk back up is very steep. If you don’t fancy the climb back, there is a bus which runs between Manuel Antonio and Quepos every 15 minutes and goes right past the hotel. Lots of eating places nearby, and a good supermarket right next door. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful, and pointed out sloths in the trees across the road every morning. The only negative was the free breakfast which wasn’t great. Overall we really enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I had an excellent time at Hotel Flor Blanca, the place was at a great location to catch the bus. We didn't have a car and it was really easy moving around with public transportation. The staff were super helpful in giving us references to restaurants or tours to book. My experience was just PERFECT!!

Everything was fine at the hotel. Went during Covid restrictions in Costa Rica and we were about the only ones in the hotel. Slept well and it was quiet. Breakfast was great.
