We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds were absolutely stunning, and the rooms were lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity we could have needed. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. One of the highlights was being surrounded by Costa Rica’s incredible wildlife. We were lucky enough to see monkeys, macaws, and so many other beautiful birds and animals right around the property. It truly felt like we were immersed in nature while still enjoying all the comforts of a wonderful hotel. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended!

This place was absolutely wonderful. We had a lovely time for the 9 nights we stayed and the place truly felt like home. Dennys, the manager, is extremely kind, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. His sweet animals on the property were one of our favorite parts. Noella, Stella, and Arlo the cat were so cute. He has the dogs very well trained, and it's clear they are very loved. The property was beautiful with incredible views. We saw capuchins several times right outside our balcony! All the rest of the staff was incredible, and the breakfasts were great. Highly recommend this place to stay!

This is a great place to stay in Manuel Antonio. Friendly and helpful staff, and our villa was basically a one-bedroom apartment with full kitchen and big covered porch. Nice view, great location, super clean, nice pool area also. Highly recommend.

Pack your bags - this is a gem property with a beautiful pool and gardens with an abundance of wildlife. Walking distance to a wide choice of restaurants and shops and very close to Manuel Antonio National Park. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This is a delightful, small hotel with beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. Ours had a living room and a large covered balcony that we spent time on watching monkeys, the resident sloth, Scarlett macaws, and an ocean view. Dennys stayed an extra half hour to help our check-in since we were delayed by bridge construction. Wonderful staff!

Villa Nicolas was a great experience. The wildlife we saw off our balcony was worth the stay alone. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a large refrigerator and a sitting area was great to have. Around alot of restaurants.

The staff were excellent, friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The views from the balcony were private and simply gorgeous. We had a perfect place to relax, unwind and just be. Exactly what I was looking for. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was great.

OMGGGGGosh this is one of the most amazing hotels we have ever stayed in! We loved the roominess, super nice bed, everything clean and comfortable. The cleaning lady Marjorie was AWESOME with cleaning and leaving beautiful towels in designs. The deck was roomy as well with plenty of comfortable furniture. The chef at their breakfast cafe was also AMAZING with every delicious meal and perfect service. The manager Dennis was always considerate with knowledge points and suggestions. The outside is so beautiful with plants, flowers and trees, plus all the steps and walkways were always clean and very pretty. If we come back to Costa Rica we will stay here again!!!

Our balcony view was great. The condo was very clean and the bed was comfy. The living room furniture wasn't so comfy but we spent almost all of our time on the balcony looking at the ocean and watching monkeys. We were there for a week and would have appreciated a little more variety on the breakfast menu. Dennis in the office was very kind and helpful. When another guest was way overcharged at a restaurant, he made sure that we knew not to use a credit card there. Paula was great. When I had difficulty booking park tickets, she did it for me. Recommended a very good restaurant and was very helpful all week. The couple who serves breakfast was also very sweet. If I had a complaint at all it would be that they do not have washcloths. I think that it is a regional thing because someone from another resort said they didn't have them also. Just bring a couple and everything else will be perfect.

100% recommend staying at Villas Nicholas. If you are after a jungle /beach experience in Costa Rica this is the place to stay. Pool was amazing.Friendly helpful staff. We saw Macaw’s pool side. From our deck we had a barrel of squirrel monkeys and capuchin monkeys swinging by. Watched a Sloth sitting in a tree . The sounds of the jungle to fall asleep by. You will hear Howler Monkeys am and pm. Book the night walk which is located right across the street from Villas Nicholas . Manuel Antonia National Park and beaches easy to get to by bus.

Warm and welcoming greeting from Dennis set the tone. Rooms were very private with great views. Not a lot of amenities on-site, but that's what we wanted. Location is ideal and walkable to everything. If you're looking for a quiet retreat where you can park the car and park yourself to enjoy the best of Quepos, Villas Nicolas is a great option.

The breakfast was served at an open air bar near the pool. You had two choices, standard Costa Rica breakfast or pancakes. Both were served with delicious fresh fruit. The service was great. The hotel is fairly small, has a beautiful view and lots of wildlife on site. Tgere was a macaw nest right outside our patio.

We had a beautiful view of the ocean over the top of the trees. Our veranda fell like it was in the middle of the jungle. We had almost as much wildlife all around us as we saw national Park tour. Three different species of monkeys, other small mammals and more birds than we could count. We got great pictures of Scarlett, macaws, hummingbirds, parrots, and many other. Felt like we were in a treehouse in the middle of the jungle. Staff was wonderful and courteous. Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely loved this place. Everyone was very nice, and the property is lovely. The ability to lie on the hammock and look at the view made the rainy days so peaceful. I recommend booking the larger king room.
