"Beautiful location, friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms with great bedding. Yummy breakfast. Jaguar yurt was small for family of 4 (2 adults & 2 grown kids). Main BR good, but nowhere to sit in room to hang out (it was rainy when we wete there). Location out of town, but view is amazing. Easy to get tuk tuk to town."

"We had a room on the top floor and there was an accompanying terrace with a table and some chairs. I had my morning coffee there, as they have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge downstairs. The room was spacious and they had air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated as it was incredibly hot. There were a lot of stairs to climb, but we had a view of the lake. For what we paid, it was wonderful. We are budget travelers. There are some restaurants right across the street which were a bit noisy on Friday night, but it wasn’t a problem and certainly worth the view. "

"We loved our peaceful stay here. It’s clear that the volunteers really care about guest experience - especially Nicole. Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. Be warned that if mobility is an issue, you should not stay here as the cabins are hundreds of stairs from the restaurant. But you are rewarded with beautiful views of the lake - which, in our view, was worth it. Dinner was 150q per night, but it was an amazing three course meal - very worth it! There is free coffee and tea and the coffee was the best we have had on our trip so far in Guatemala. I would definitely stay here again! "
