"This location was extremely disappointing. Staff was kind but untrained and were not dressed professionally. Check-in took 15-20 minutes because staff was untrained and had no support. The lobby, dining area, elevators, and hallways are aged, dingy, dirty and damaged. My room looked like someone had recently booked it and not fully restocked. I didn’t have any of the basic toiletries like soap nor did I have more than 1 rag. The sofa in my room was dingy and stained. The room smelled moldy. There was barely any tissue on the roll and no replacement. There were sketchy looking people hanging outside at front door and going in/out lobby area. The pictures online are either doctored up or were taken decades ago. This is the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had and I will never stay again nor recommend it to anyone unless they do a major rehaul from staff to decor. I wanted a refund to go stay elsewhere honestly. Lots of shops nearby for food and shopping. "

"Nobody tells you how many Home 2 hotels there are in an area. If you’re not familiar with the area it’s a mess to figure out where your reservation is and the hotel you stop at says they can’t help you look at other H 2 hotels to find out! The room we got was fine but I probably won’t choose this chain again. I walk in with my oxygen concentrator on and using my cane and am given a room at the far end of the floor from the elevator. It was a long walk for a very tired traveler. Why would an architect put the elevator at one end of the building from the elevator. Disregarding those with disabilities, most travelers are tired and dealing with baggage. Very poor planning!"

"Stay was booked for 2 people. We booked a king bed and pull out sofa bed. We had no blankets for the 2nd person. The sofa bed was also folded up with dirty sheets, stains, and crumbs. We specifically booked a 100% smoke free establishment as I am in town on business, and we woke up at 7am, with our entire room strongly smelling of weed from the room next to us that had conjoined doors. It was also advertised to have breakfast and coffee in the mornings, but the lobby was not even open. "

"The staff I would say was average and below. The hotel was super nice and clean. But the hotel staff behind the desk could have given better costumer support. Example 1, I had booked two rooms together online. After checking in, we noticed the rooms were on two separate floors. So we went back up and requested they at least be on the same floor. I didn’t understand why the clerk was not more accommodating at the beginning when we checked in the first time. He was helpful after we asked. Example2, when checking out I like to get a receipt before I leave the hotel to ensure everything is correct. The printer was broken, so an email was fine. When I asked the $ amount, it wasn’t what I had expected and asked to pull it up and try to determine why. She said she couldn’t do anything. After more questions I finally figured out why (it was the $50 deposit that would eventually come off). But I felt as if she didn’t care and nothing she could do ab it. Example3, breakfast was cold, no plates, several items were not refilled for 30 min. The breakfast looked like it would had been a hit if it was managed better. The hotel has a great opportunity to turn this around. The staff was not helpful at all. I will say the cleaning crew was very friendly! I never write reviews but this one really needed it so management can hopefully correct. "
