We stayed one night- went for a long afternoon and evening walk along the beach and coves. Early morning walk and hike and swim along the beaches, then when it got hot, went to the extensive breakfast spread (served until 11:00 on a weekday). "Staff support was definitely lacking. No one helped with our bags. I had to ask housekeeping to empty our trash. The air conditioning was really loud (so loud we couldn’t sleep. They never sent anyone to fix it. There was no drinking water available until noon when the cafe opened. Nice rooms and great location, but way too expensive for the service."

"Lovely hotel at the foot of the bahai garden in Haifa. Hotel has Arabic charm. Nice restaurants nearby. It is far from the beach but there are buses. Be aware that all the Internet reviews say you can rent lounges on the beach, like in Tel Aviv, but you can't. I bought a cheap chair (70 shekels) and left it on the beach when I was done. I wish the hotel had warned me when I asked about the beaches, or better yet, had loaner chairs, but that's not really how Israeli hotels work. Breakfast buffet...

"The couple who owned the property were very helpful. They gave me a ride to the train station on my last day as I was unsure how I was going to get there. The wife was very kind and helped me with some issues related to travel for me as I had not traveled much out of the US. My room was clean. The hotel is located in a great area. I thought it might be noisy as it was on the corner of two very busy streets, but it was very quiet. "
