"Great location right near Mount Rushmore. Room was nice and clean. The only negatives were a significant amount of nails found in the gravel parking lot. Second minor annoyance is the loud air conditioner. We are use to a fan or other white noise while we sleep but the ac was a bit loud. We would book here again. We weren’t impressed by the restaurant like a number of people who have eaten there have been bit thats a different review. We would book here again."

"For the price we paid, the room was absolutely unacceptable. No closet, no iron, windows unit for ac and so loud. Had two use 2 remotes for the TV. Room was not cleaned for 2 days, 1small bar of soap for 5 days. The worst was the lighting, only one small lamp on the night tables, room was super dark, the lamp was so small and did not give any light, the other night table emptied. I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone."

"They were undergoing renovations which were much needed. Hopefully once it is all renovated they will be better. It is quite noisy, however as there is no insulation and you can hear the people in the next room very loud!"

"Hotel and staff were fantastic. Breakfast the next day was horrible. Almost out of food and what they did have they continued to run out of repeatedly and didn’t keep up with the service needs of guests."

"I had short notice for this trip and with it being a holiday weekend there wasn't much to choose from. The only thing I like about this location was that I could pull right up to the door to unload and load. I am sorry but the place is very run down and doesn't feel clean because of that."
