Moved the couch to see the TV better. It was beyond gross behind the couch. Trash in the bathroom was full. A washcloth was left in the shower. The fridge, freezer, and micro were dirty. The AC filter needed to be changed. Needed to open windows for air and no screens on windows.

This place had me sold with washer, dryer & detergent as an amenity. I was highly disappointed to find there was none on property. The tenants whom live upstairs sound like a herd of buffalo running. Be prepared for an early wake-up. No alarm needed. I’m a vapor and was upset to see a sign that said absolutely no vaping on property due to upstate tenant being asthmatic. I wouldn’t have rented this space if details would have stated this. Not easy to find. Pic of property shows the tenants upstairs unit not the unit in alley way in back. You park next to garage cans and the smell of death smacks you in the face exiting your face as an awful greeting. It was decorated decently and close to a crapy laundromat. So there’s the bonus I guess. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend to family or friends.

Cute house with some recent updates to the bathroom and kitchen. We easily fit 6 of us for an overnight stay.

Disappointing experience.

Firstly our email giving our entry code arrived 24 hours late, we had to go to a local hotel and ask a helpful receptionist to call the helpline number for us. The property looked poor from the outside, the grass was long and overdue a cut, two dead fir trees in pots either side of the front door was not very welcoming. Paintwork to the exterior required remedial repairs in places. Inside, the lounge curtains seemed to be shower curtains. We were lucky nobody was in the adjacent apartments as there is obviously noise issues by the copious amounts of ear plugs left for guests and the noise machine in the second bedroom. Also with the second bedroom, this is below the level of the neighbors front door so their corgi dog barks every time it sees you. The shower head was blocked with lime scale so went in all directions, a clean or replacement is required. Generally the property was well supplied, the gold cutlery was a rather novel choice, the lack of hair dryer was really disappointing, as throughout all our stays in the USA, this was the only property not to have one available.

Very clean and very comfortable. Looks recently renovated and furnished. Easy to cook for ourselves. We only used 2 bedrooms, but everyone slept soooo well in those comfortable beds. I wish this exact accommodation was in every place I visit. More space than I expected.

Very clean, cozy and lots of bang for the buck. Luis was very responsive and helpful. Don’t let the lower back entry color your perception of the place. Conveniently located and just a short drive from Mt. Rushmore Memorial Park and a beautiful, scenic drive to the Badlands.

50th Wedding Anniversary Trip

My husband and I came from Alabama to see Mt. Rushmore and the surrounding area. The home was small but perfect for 2 people. It did however have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which were very nice. The home was well appointed and very cute. It also had brochures for things to do and see in and around Rapid City. I thought this was a nice touch! We were very pleased with this property for our stay in Rapid City and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely clean and awesome to be able to make breakfast. Separate rooms was nice. A little noisy at 6 in the morning and no blackout curtains made sleeping in not possible.
