Farmstay in Rattota

Worth it for the pool alone. Lovely staff. Good food. Its a trip to get there and only with good weather for the roads but once there its like the garden of eden with a banging infinity pool and views over sri lanka

First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy. If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill. Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city). Everything was very good including the breakfast and dinner

A one off. Super stunning views, room whilst not huge, had everything we needed and the shower was splendid , all was well planned and organised. Food was cooked to order and excellent and the staff were splendid.

Amazing place, the countryside is breathtaking, the private waterfall was such fun. The staff are friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for three nights. Absolutely amazing hotel. Staff were amazing and specially we need to mention our butler, Sakunthala and she was great and made our stay extremely memorable and special. Food was amazing too. We wanted to see Kandy perahara and the general manager immediately contacted the manager from queens hotel Kandy, who got us excellent seats to watch the perahara. Staff were so friendly and made our trip truly enjoyable.

Amazing service and beautiful oasis in the middle of a crazy city

Fantastic family hotel although a little away from town. Best part was the manner in which we were looked after by the very kind family. We had a superb vegetarian meal prepared home style by the family. Excellent housekeeping and the boy helper was fantastic- he went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. I would suggest that the place does NOT need a gym or swimming pool and the space with the bar etc is all wasted and that they are better off having rooms instead. Little out of town...

This is a truly wonderful hotel. The staff are so attentive. We had such a relaxing and memorable time. The food was incredible. It was like having a private dining experience. Could not recommend more highly.

This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy.

I booked two nights , beautiful room ,friendly stay, morning breakfast is one of best, we no need for queue for the food which table service one of the best experience, chef Mr Selvakumar personally ask about the food they served, I would recommend more them 100% to stay here, I will visit again and wish very best for the staff who help me all throughout the stay. This is a classy place - great facilities and an outstanding buffet dinner and breakfast. Pool a real treat. Don't use their taxis get local knowledge - much cheaper.
