"Breakfast and serving staff was very good."

"Musty smell in rooms made worse by no air conditioning. It had been turned off throughout the hotel. Old structure (although historic) should be kept in better condition. Restaurant is ok but there are better in the area. The plus is location."

"Location is great for cruising out of Ravenna, just okay from me."

"Stayed one night here before embarking on a cruise. This hotel was sufficient for that. I would not recommend it for any longer stay. The hotel was an easy 3 minute walk from the train station. Checkin was easy and the manager working the desk was friendly. The hotel is undergoing renovations. The front facade is covered with scaffolding. The room was clean, but the furnishings are quite old. I did not like the dated blanket and bed spread that are brown/tan and unlikely to be frequently...

"Nice clean room, staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is great for walking downtown."

"A really nice place to stay!!"

"Staffs are friendly, breakfast is really yummy, the room we stayed is well maintained and walking distance to the train station."

"We truly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous property with spacious rooms. Elegant living room and nice patio garden. Great location in center of the old city district."

"We loved this hotel as a place to stay before boarding our cruise. The front desk staff were amazing and helped us navigate some local food options. The room was large and lovely. We wished the pool was open longer as our flight was delayed and we missed it by minutes. While it was too cool to enjoy the ocean and beach, we had a beach view that we can imagine must be incredible when warmer."

"Overcharged for breakfast and add ons...16 euros each for pastry and coffee breakfast, 8 euros each for water, 29 euros for 1/2 litre of wine, booked and paid thru Expedia and at checkout demanded another 125 Euros difference. Apparently could not understand even when I used Google translate. Contacted Expedia after to try and resolve problem, hotel said they had given me a complimentary "upgrade" and had neglected to take it off my bill and could not refund to the card I paid with but would...

"Great communication from hotel before we arrived. Clean, great customer service, perfectly located in the town center."

"All over just great"

"The reception gentleman for check in was so helpful and kind. We each used the translator on our phones and had laughs. He recommended an excellent restaurant for authentic food that was very close. The breakfast was delicious and the attendant was very conscientious. She kept everything stocked and was also quite helpful. Loved the quiet in the rooms and even on our balcony. A peaceful location. Good choice. From the Ravenna train station it was a wild bus ride on #80. Be sure to watch for...
