"My son and I had a very pleasant stay. The beds and room were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for exploring the Univ of Utah and hopping on the light rail to see the city. The breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. I would definitely stay here again."

"I informed the front desk of the leak in the toilet. He did not seem concerned . It may need a new O ring as water was clearly seeping from behind the bowl. Continental breakfast was very limited . Waffle batter was too thick it was pouring very slow, it appeared empty. Saw a couple of bugs in the toilet and informed the front desk upon check out - suggested to exterminate the room for pests."

"In decades of travel around the globe I have NEVER encountered a check in experience that forced me to leave for fear of my own safety. The behavioral "snap" seemed to be concurrent with my confirmation that the reservation was prepaid. Beware. Do not prepay. There are many hotels in SLC. This is an old 1 star accommodation attempting rebranding. The photos did not and still do not represent this property."

"There are better options near the airport. Avoid this hotel if you can. Inattentive staff, peeling paint, stained carpets, threadbare towels, etc."

"The building is nice (historic property), and the decor was playful and well done. The food was good, and the staff were very helpful. The recommendations I have are to change the carpet and install some kind of scent ambience, because the age of the building shows a bit."

"Staff was nice, maybe not too hospitable but they were friendly. Room was smaller than any normal stay I've had but I enjoyed the size of it. Rooms could use a little more work with exposed piping, interior etc but nothing too bad for the pricing."

"Front desk agent is a no frills kind of person. Maybe said 5 words to us but we didn't press her with questions. Didn't get a remote but probably a good thing since we needed to get some sleep. Was clean.... weird set up in the room. Would stay here again between driving days. "

"The hotel was a great place to stay in Utah. It was convenient to the airport and great restaurants and things to do. The room was spacious with a sitting area. Hotel kept very clean. Staff was very friendly. The spa was excellent. I had a great massage. The pool was busy in the early afternoon but then cleared out and very relaxing. The staff at the pool was attentive . The coffee shop was so quaint and the perfect start to the day. Overall excellent hotel. I would recommend."
