"Really good location, quiet and with good amenities. The owner made all the difference to our stay, with help getting there from the airport, advice on places to visit, transport links and good venues for food. Brilliant stay, we loved every moment!"

"Fantastic experience from the get go. Communication, hospitality & excellent concierge. All delivered in a friendly & knowledgeable way by Simona. The accommodation was stunning & flawless & presented in such a way that complemented the beautiful city of Matera perfectly. Highly recommended!"

"Great place for a couple of days in Matera. Really friendly staff, the breakfast was good for being Italian breakfast and my room was clean and had an lovely bed. If i ever go back to Matera I'll chose Il Carrboro again. "

"Chambre jolie et bien équipée Petit déjeuner excellent. "

"Our stay in Matera was absolutely wonderful. The property was beautiful, full of character, and such a special place to experience the city. Giacomo made the stay even better. He was genuinely one of the sweetest and most welcoming people we met on our trip. He was kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We were honestly sad to leave and would stay here again without hesitation. A beautiful place with an even better host."

There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. Wifi worked well and the owner is super nice. Breakfast was simple but...
