No hot tub. Remote on tv didn’t work. 1 person working at Peet’s coffee shop…waited 25 minutes. Unfriendly staff in the game room. Price wasn’t bad and the room was quiet so that was good. Overall it was ok. The Best Western plus in Truckee on Brockway was excellent and the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We stayed there on the way to Idaho and the Boomtown Best Western on the way back. No comparison. I’ll be staying in Truckee for now on.

I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it so I hooked it again. Everything, hotel, room, jacuzzi in the room were amazing. Check-in was great. Two downsides: the bed was not great, kinda lumpy. But what really turned me off was checkout. I was in line behind another guest while the two employees at the desk chatted away with their guest, literally about their homes and other personal topics etc which went on and on as the line behind me grew. The employees had zero sense of urgency to help anyone else including not even noticing the growing line. I eventually got fed up, put my room keys on the desk and walk away explaining how ridiculous it was. That got the agents attention, too late. Other than that I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Pillows were too firm. A/C unit kept waking me up. View was to the indoor pool. Room was spacious. Poor lighting especially for an interior room with no natural light. Bathroom was small but clean. No in room safe. For a “resort” property I expect 24/7 eatery or room service. This is just a casino with hotel. It is not a resort. The Steakhouse was pretty good. Casino reeks of smoke. Staff was friendly and obviously a lot of regulars. I was just breaking up a long drive. If it was my destination I would have been disappointed. My car was still there in the morning so all good. It must be under upgraded as the food court and conference rooms were full of mattresses. Hopefully upgraded bedding and pillows too.

Prefer to not be on the I-80 fwy side! Didn’t get good sleep at all. Vending machine was somewhat empty in the 3rd floor by elevator. The Deli was great for food. Service was very good! Hopefully this will still be my go to spot on my travels.

booked the wrong nite - sunday instead of saturday and paid insurance for cancel and when I requested cancel said it was non refundable - so basically I had to book saturday nite there . hotel was great - expedia not so much!!!!
