"This spot was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Rethymno! The actual residence is even more exquisite than the pictures - minimalist but thoughtful decor and an amazing rooftop view. It is on a quieter street on the edge of town, allowing easy access to all the restaurants, shops, beach, etc. without a bunch of foot traffic. "DO NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION...EVER!!! The owner double booked his house in August 2025 and when we arrived to check in, another family was there. He didn't care that he double booked it and we had to find another place to stay at 10 pm at night in a country we don't live in. He didn't care and now will not even refund us for the payment when we didn't even stay there. Absolutely unacceptable for a family of four to be displaced because of his negligence. And we're equally disappointed in Expedia...
