The blue lagoon is a geothermal spa in Grindavik in southwest Iceland. It is a man-made lagoon fed by the waters of the neighbouring geothermal plant Svartsengi. The water temperature is a balmy 37-39 centigrade. The waters have healing properties due to a high silica and sulphur content which gives the water its opaque blue colour.

"Our 3 bedroom apartment at the Reykjanes Guesthouse was clean, spacious, and a perfect “home base” for our trip. The well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal or two in, and being just 26 minutes from KEF, with the Blue Lagoon in between, meant very easy arrival and departure days. "1. 佈置溫馨、乾凈、整齊、舒服 2. 客廳很大、設計品味很棒 3. 沐浴用品及廚房餐具齊全 4. 各處都看得出主人細膩且貼心的巧思 5. 浴室乾濕分離很棒，唯一可惜的是淋浴間內無排水管，水會直接流到馬桶旁的地面排水孔。剛進廁所時，因爲排水孔被腳踏墊遮住，淋浴後才發現腳踏墊會被排水弄濕。腳踏墊建議改放靠門口處，避免遮到淋浴排水處。"
