"Perfect overnight if flying out of Frankfurt Hahn airport. Walking distance. You can leave your car parked for a small fee. Very good schnitzel. Will stay again."
Landhotel Airport Inn

"Nightmare transfer from the airport. Followed the instructions to call for the shuttle and it would turn up. Well it turns up with a different name on the white bus, people squish themselves into the 8 seats. Worked out this the was the bus to be told, tough wait for it to do a loop. Not impressed considering I’d called ahead and told it was on its way for me. Call the hotel to find out the still have at least 28 people they are aware of to shuttle. So, wait for it to do its loop 15-20 mins later - it pulls up in a totally different spot and again people start to pile on the bus. Quick jog across the car park and myself and one other that had missed out the first time get on the bus. It drives to the ‘hotel’. Doesn’t look like the photos. Told to wait, the bus driver deals with everyone else that’s on the bus - think they were people picking up cars. Then they ‘check me in’ oh no key ready! It’s 2am in the morning, hotel chap returns to the desk - oh still no key! Makes me a key then says he’s too busy to show me the room- it’s a couple of hundred meters down the road left right left right blah blah. So off I go single female 2am in the morning. Find the hotel and met with a serious waft of cannabis - delightful! The room it’s self was what I’d expect and fine. The rest though disorganised chaos."

"Loved this cozy, retro hotel right on the river. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a huge modern bathroom. Splurge for a balcony with a view of the Rhine. Staff was kind and helpful at offering touring options. The breakfast buffet was the largest I've ever seen with many hot and cold selections. Would definitely stay here on a return trip. "
Burgstadt-Hotel

"This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened". The hotel was full that weekend. At least the windows opened. Also, our room had a terrible smell. Apparently, the drain pipe in the middle of the bathroom floor was the culprit. The lady at the desk poured some cleaner down the drain with a few buckets of water. We then covered the drain with a towel and went to the store to get a car scent hanger to place on top. We went to the restaurant for dinner and waited an hour and a half for our meal. They were very busy that night and apparently not prepared for the weekend (May Day). The meal was nice in spite of the wait. The most positive aspect of our experience was the woman at the desk who tried her best to fix things for us. "

"Clean room, beautiful Rhine river views from the room, delicious breakfast with a specially decorated table for our anniversary and wine gift! Some confusion at check in about the room in apartment down the street while we had thought we had booked at the main hotel Overall a great stay overlooking the Rhine River!"
Das Ebertor Hotel & Hostel

"My husband and I stayed at Das Ebertor Hotel for 3 days. It was a perfect place to explore the Rhine region. Access to trains is a 2 minute walk so easy to get to other towns. KD ferry dock is just out front on the promenade making it super convenient. Breakfast was lovely and a nice way to start the day. Rooms were really clean and spacious. We looked out over the river...spectacular! Great place for a home base"
