"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

"Very disappointed not having a microwave and a full size coffee pot, also coffee Keurig needed cleaned, No I available in cottage, plus no freezer on my apt size refrigerator but biggest disappointment was lack of plugs to plug in cell phones to charge for the evening, I like my phone by my bed when I’m out of town and had to plug it against the far wall and set phone in window to charge, Breakfast was Excellent, I feel like wine tasting should last longer for guest staying at their location,...

"Got off to a rocky start when our room was not ready. We just went out to dinner, and then when we returned, our room was cleaned and ready to go. Our check-in was easy, we had filled out all the paperwork online. The room was great! We love the fact that they have taken out the carpet. We had a handicap room in the shower was excellent. It doesn’t have a lot of fluff in the room, but everything that was needed was there. We really enjoyed our stay."

"This is a small hotel with the outdoor entrance rooms. The owners have refurbished all the rooms. Mine was quite lovely. The bed was huge, I even had a recliner. The TV was a huge screen with plenty of channels. It was very clean and smelled great. The staff were so kind, helping me out. I’m disabled so getting inside the office to use the ice machine was a little hard but the boy behind the counter jumped out real fast to help. "We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...

"The inside of the room was clean. Some areas of inside room were updated. But the beds were a horrible makeshift combo I've never seen before. And moving on them at all made a weird sound like worping sheet metal. The outside is dilapidated. Thank goodness we only stayed 1 night. It was graduation season and all we could find."
