Great place to stay for a Cooperstown Dream Park Visit about 17 minute drive. Very affordable and nice and clean and lady running is was super nice and helpful… 10 Stars in my opinion

amazing place to stay

Best hotel that we have stayed in for a while. Very clean and smelled fresh and clean every day my husband and I stayed for 5 days for a tournament at Cooperstown dream park. and with only a 20min drive to Cooperstown very well recommended. Owner is very kind, helpful and defiantly maintains the property.

This motel was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here 1 night during a visit to Cooperstown which was about a 30 min drive (hotel prices are extremely inflated there). The checkin and checkout process was easy and the owner and his wife were very pleasant. The exterior is dated but clean. Yes, it’s your typical motel layout but the room was very clean and the bathrooms were newly renovated. Bed was comfortable. We could tell that the owners took pride in their establishment. The property was very quiet and felt safe. The owner provided good communication and was quick to answer our questions. We appreciated the complimentary bottled waters in the room. The room was appointed with a (very clean) small coffee maker, coffee grounds, and paper cups. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are ever in this area again.

Good service!

Check in was easy and the room was very clean with a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, etc. The service was great providing extra towels immediately and giving all details we needed for our stay. The town was very quiet and not much was open for food options or activities. It wasn’t a long drive to Cooperstown where we planned to spend the next day. It was comfortable and met out needs.

Quiet & Friendly

Quiet, friendly, the room was a bit outdated but the bathroom was modern which was a bit interesting. There was a clogged drain in the tub but we didn’t say anything till we checked out as it wasn’t a huge deal to us. They did let us know they would have fixed it right away or moved us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Village Motel. Easy check in, safe & quiet area and the room was super clean. The grounds look very nice and you can tell the owners take pride in their property. We will definitely return in the future. Do not hesitate to book a room at the Village Motel.

Rooms though dated had been upgraded with new plumbing fixtures and floors. A/C syruggled to remove moisture and room felt slightly humid. Very clean and nice. Helpful staff/owners

Our experience there was awesome. It was nice and quiet. Close by to food, gas, and groceries. The drive to Cooperstown is scenic and not to far. Clean and friendly service. The water is hot and stays hot, so very relaxing after a day at the ballfield.

Is not a fancy place, but the rooms are super clean. The person running the front desk stayed to check us in when I called late on a Sunday evening so we would be able to have a room. That meant a whole lot after spending 12 hours on a motorcycle. Thanks so much!

Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Location is good for where we needed to be. We’ve stayed here twice now. They put the strongest “air fresheners” in the rooms. Both times we’ve had to put it on the outside of the window and shut it out so we can’t smell it. The smell makes me feel sick. The 2nd time we stayed I also noticed the smell of whatever detergent/soap they use all over the blankets and pillows. It’s so strong that I almost had to sleep in the car. For all the hotels with unbelievably uncomfortable beds, these are definitely better than most. But the smells are so overpowering that I don’t think we’ll ever stay here again.
