Great stay! Warm and friendly staff, nice facilities, good (included) breakfast. Lovely neighborhood, walking distance from Amtrak station. Only drawbacks were that there was no housekeeping service (they had indicated that there would be a room refresh every other day but there wasn't anything during my 4-day stay), and parking is tricky nearby. Valet is costly, and there is no discount for the many expensive parking garages near the hotel.
I will definitely return!
Great stay, very clean, spacious room. Very pleasant all around with friendly customer service. Breakfast didn’t accommodate for allergies. Lots of cross contamination. Had to go elsewhere for food.
The staff was amazing. they went above and beyond to help me surprise my friend and letting me check in and decorate the room!

The property is located in a great area. The state capital building and the historic clock tower are within walking distance. Front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The room was nice. However, the couch cushions and pillows are ready to be replaced or steam cleaned.

The employees are super nice and helpful. The pillows though aren't very comfortable and they didn't have extra pillows to give if you needed extra. Location is in the downtown area. It's kid friendly as there was something fun in the court yard to do.
Great stay and very clean comfy room. The pullout couch was as expected -uncomfortable with the bar hitting the lower back. I don’t know if there is anything to be done about that
Having just finished a 2 week stay, my wife and I agreed we like this hotel quite a bit. Our king bed studio was spacious, in good quality, and clean. The bed and bedding were noticeably nice. Good fridge and cooktop, fine with cups and plates, could use a few more kitchen items (more pots and pans, colinder, etc). Hotel breakfast just okay.
Parking available in the structure across the street, as well as excellent valet team.
Overall, much better than several other hotels with kitchen suites.
Recommended, and we've already booked our next stay.
Hotel clean, staff professional and friendly. Please put the benga blocks and corn hole game away at 11pm. People were very noisy playing these games outside our window in the courtyard until past 1am.

Liked: Staff & service
Only stayed one night and The hotel was average. Could have been cleaner as there were old stains on walls, carpet, and chairs. There was also a sewage smell in the bathroom. Our first hotel room had a stain on the sheet but they quickly moved us to a new room. Staff and service is definitely their strong suit.
To be honest the hotels in Richmond with great reviews and cleanliness are just few and far between. Would stay here again if I go back to Richmond
I loved the stay, it was only shadowed by lack of staffing that resulted in our room not being ready past check-in time and having to take a slightly smaller room instead since we had dinner plans and couldn't wait. Lack of staff also resulted in the bar/coffee area being closed on a Saturday. The staff that was there was very apologetic and lovely.
Very comfortable room.
Weak Wifi.
Need signs in Residence Inn side directing to Courtyard for check in. Confusing!
Need check-out instructions
I called desk at 6 am for check out information and there was no answer and no voice mail. (Twice!)
The lobby and gym were renovated and looked great. The room itself had broken furniture, improperly working microwave and uncomfortable seating. There was a club night on Saturday that kept me up until 2-2:30 am. It was extremely loud. This seems to be a regular event, so don't stay here if you plan to sleep over the weekend! Parking is not included. I usually love Residence Inn, but this was the worst one I've ever seen. I would never come back here again, and will look at other hotel chains moving forward.
