We stayed here for a fortnight and really enjoyed our time here. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent too. The hotel is just a short walk from the old town. There is a very modest charge to park your car.

We had a small room with three twin beds jammed into the room. Limited room to move about, and it did not match the charm of the rooms in the pictures. Breakfast was good. It was not bad, but it was nothing to write home about.

Good location, close to all the old town attractions with lots of places to eat and drink near by. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The only negatives were the bed, which had a very thin mattress and was too firm and the smell outside the hotel, probably caused by a blocked drain somewhere.

Excellent stay, nice place, great location. Only beef I had is that there was no ice machine? Anywhere on the property? No Ice!? Other than that small issue I would stay again.

The hotel has only a couple of minutes walk from the old town, but is on a quiet back street. The staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. The hotel decor is a bit tired. We had two rooms on the top floor and both had two sky lights, one with a blind and one without which meant the room was light from 5am which woke my wife and daughter. The breakfast buffet was very busy but had a reasonable selection.

This hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring the old town. It was clean, staff were friendly and the hotel has character. Unfortunately the hotel is very echoey - on our first night after a long day travelling we were woken up between 5am-6am because of a cleaner in the hall way making noise. Our bed was very creaky so whenever either of us moved the noise woke us, we also struggled to sleep because we could hear other guests coming and going, doors opening and closing and people talking. If it wasn’t for the noise and the lack of sleep I would say I would stay again but unfortunately that ruined it for us.

The hotel is located slightly away from the old town, in a quiet alley which was nice. It was also from a walking distance from the market hall. Nice staff, clean room, mediocre breakfast. Worth of the money spent.

Great welcome, friendly and helpful staff with excellent English. Hotel and room corresponded to expectations, cozy and traditional, and well located in center not too noisy. Mattress needs replacing but other amenities fine. Would return again!

Everything excellent except the room stank of fresh cigarette smoke the entire time, I stayed 4 nights and it was as if someone was smoking in the room while I was out. Nearby hostels had young people constantly who screamed into the nights. Tub had a leak somewhere at the bottom and flooded the floor constantly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall atmosphere is okay. Location is good.

Just a basic property parking was available but not easily accessible do to large cobbles… quaint but you need to carry your luggage as the cobbles will make it impossible to roll luggage ok for me but I think elderly folks should stay aeay
