Only frustration is that our room did not have air conditioning. Only some rooms have AC but our door opened which allowed plenty of air flow from outside."

"Sehr schön gepflegtes altes Manor House in traumhafter Lage. Die Zimmer im Alten Haus sowie die Salons haben einen speziellen Flair.Man ist auf das Dinner und Frühstück dort angewiesen wenn man nicht endlos fahren will. Es hat seinen Preis ist aber excellent. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend.

"First time I have stayed here. A real find. A bit quirky but overall excellent. Rooms come with fridge which vontained some fresh smoked salmon and Brie plus ol and water. Also breakfast is a very good DIY with granola and yogurts provided plus croissants and French pastries, jams etc. Also the hotel has a brilliant restaurant which you have to book as the locals know about it too. The car park can be a little tight and the stairs no lift would challenge the infirm. Overall a fabulous good value...

We could not get the heating to work, but kept the window closed to keep the room warmer. Shower pressure was not great, but adequate."
