The building itself is really cool with a lot of character, and the lobby and rooftop bars were both great hangout spots with delicious food and tasty signature cocktails. "We went to the NCVF National collegiate volleyball championship. I chose this hotel because it is close to the convention center. I did the research before I booked the hotel and people said there was a free KC street car running around the downtown. When I asked the lady at the front desk and she told said there was no free public transportation around here. I had to uber if I wanted to get to downtown which wasn’t true. I hope the employees who worked at the hotel should be more helpful or should not give customers wrong information. The lady who worked at the breakfast areas on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning was awesome. "

"Be prepared to get stuck going in and out of the garage. The room key did not work and staff struggled to get the gates open with their own key cards. We were late due to sitting in the garage for almost 20 minutes."
