"Room is cool aesthetically but dark with the only window facing a wall corridor. Really my only issue is if you had someone above you good luck. We had a spasmatic elephant above us who got in each night around 12:30 then would stomp around for 2 hours and keep us up so we got no sleep. Hotel is centrally located which is nice as it’s walkable to everywhere. They do charge a ridiculous amenities fee that is $20 per night that gets you a bottle of water upon check in and a sad gym. "We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel last week and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price we paid for the stay.

"The hotel was very lovely and in the heart of the French Quarter. This made it easy for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go easily. We had an issue with a loose toilet seat. "Great location if you're going to the Riverwalk, but be aware it's noisy. We were on the 5th floor and heard airplanes, fog horns, and the elevator all night both nights. As I have discovered now at all Hilton Garden Inns, the beds are hard and crazy uncomfortable. The hallway on our floor and the elevator consistently smelled of marijuana. Also the only hotel parking is valet at $50 a night...we parked in a garage up the street for $30 per night. In the future I'll spend a little more money for...
