The staff was very friendly, but not overly helpful. The room had a few issues. There was a bad smell that never went away. It was a mildew like odor in the sleeping area, but a sewer like smell in the bathroom. The floors were very dirty, leaving our white socks black on the bottom. There was a message light blinking on the phone which the staff couldn't help with (they said to just ignore it). We had to cover it with a towel to sleep. When we arrived too early to check in, they offered to put our bag in a secure storage area. But when we returned they gave us the wrong bag & weren't sure which one was ours. One of the friendly ladies at reception offered to make us a reservation at a restaurant she had suggested for a birthday celebration, even recommending a specific waiter. But we returned to the hotel that afternoon to find that we did not have a reservation (and she was no longer working). And it was too late to get one somewhere else.
While the lobby looked beautiful, and the location was OK, we probably wouldn't stay there again.
