Very Disappointing Check-In Experience
My check-in experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
Upon arrival, I was surprised by a request to pay an unexpected cash deposit, which was not mentioned at all during my reservation on Expedia. The staff insisted on the deposit despite the fact that I did not have cash with me. What made this even more unreasonable is that the mini-bar in the room was completely empty, so there was no clear justification for such a demand.
When I asked to speak with the duty manager, he refused to meet or speak with me, which clearly reflects a lack of professionalism and poor customer service.
I had reserved a Deluxe Room at a higher rate, fully aware that the hotel has both new and old rooms. Unfortunately, after the disagreement at check-in, I was intentionally allocated an older room, which felt like a form of retaliation rather than proper hospitality.
To make matters worse:
• The air-conditioning was very noisy
• The bathroom was in poor condition
• The pillows were uncomfortable
• Overall room quality did not match the price paid
This stay was upsetting and far below expectations. Based on this experience, the hotel does not offer value for money, and I would not recommend it unless major improvements are made in customer service and transparency.
