"The hotel was conveniently located close to the highway, restaurants and gas stations. The facility was clean and the staff were helpful."

"Bedbugs upon arrival. Unfortunately, because it was late at night, there was no maid service to help. Room facing the parking lot so couldn't sleep because the lights coming from the lot. Curtains did not help much as high still went into the room. Only positive was the location as I needed to be close to the hospital."

"IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN TRAVELING ALONE DO NOT STAY HERE. I want to preface this by saying I hate leaving bad reviews, I never want to judge someone on possibly just one off day. The hotel itself was fine. It was clean. It wasn’t super modern, but you get what you pay for. The interaction I had with staff, however, was bad. I got to the hotel around 12:30 AM. "Staff was brand new and in the phone messed up my reservation and charged me twice then. The manager didn’t want to give me a refund, even though the staff and their new system messed up my reservation. The hotel was good but the service was terrible"

"We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn, Salem. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. The faculty was clean, and it was easy to get on and off the highway. A simple fix would make this a great place to stay. Provide pillows that have some stuffing. With three pillows, I still could not get a normal pillow height nor any support. Next time, I will bring my own. Overall, a great stay. The shower was great, too."
