"This is an excellent hotel. The lobby and the bar area is beautiful and cozy and the food from the restaurant was very good. The rooms are very spacious, updated, comfortable with large windows providing excellent lighting. There are high-quality blackout shades.The bathroom is also spacious, updated, clean, and very nice. The staff was friendly, helpful and available. Excellent hotel providing a wonderful experience."

"Pros: Room and bathroom were clean. Fantastic black out drapes. Staff informative and fast both check in and check out. Easy access from highway, close parking. Cons: Walls were extremely flimsy could hear everything in next room like I was sitting beside them. Barn style bathroom door hard to move and little to no privacy, Vacuuming very early in the morning and loud talking, Television navigation difficult and very few selections."

"Lady at the front desk greeted us with a smile and quickly checked us in. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We realized we were short a hand towel and wash cloth. Lady at the front desk said they were still doing laundry and she would bring it to us. When we returned from dinner she greeted us at the door with our missing linens. Hotel was quiet. My only complaint was the congregation and smoking by employees/guests(?) at the front entrance."

"It served our purpose as a stop-over. Rooms are very small. Loud and creaky floor above us. Two remotes, 1 which did nothing with no instructions. Staff were friendly…when not outside smoking."

"Checking the sites of the Monongahela National Forest, we stayed for two nights and the stay was excellent, the room was updated, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the front desk were courteous and helpful. My Wife seriously said it was the best hotel stay ever, yes in Elkins of all places."
