"We absolutely loved staying at Sequoia Village! The location is fantastic—just about 4 miles from Sequoia Park, making it super convenient for exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome, and the staff were quick to respond to any requests we had.
The place itself is perfect for families. It’s well-equipped with a full kitchen and a BBQ grill, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. The kids especially loved the game room, and having access to a laundry room was a big plus. We also appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, so we could bring along our furry friend.
One of our favorite parts was the deck—such a peaceful spot to sit, enjoy a meal, and watch the sunset.
Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Sequoia Park!"
"Amazing property. It is exactly as imagine. Old but well kept lodge with great staff and it was a really great spot close to Kings Canyon entrance. Beds were a bit low and not to firm. "
"This was our 2nd stay here. You wake up to the most beautiful view. It’s probably not great for anyone with serious mobility issues though as the cabins and lodge are quite spread out and most up hills. The area is so beautiful though and it’s convenient to stay close to General Sherman. Just keep in mind it’s rustic and on the older side. Would stay here next time definitely "
"Doug was helpful and friendly on check-in. We loved the view of Mt. Williamson behind the motel. The room was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The towels and linens are of good quality and the beds comfortable. It was handy to be able to park right out front of the room to quickly unload. As with most hotels and motels along 395, it’s close to the road, but earplugs and the a/c unit drowned out the noise. A good spot to head out to Death Valley the next day. "
"this is closer to a 4 or 5
rug was stained from front doorway to bathroom
beds were clean and comfortable
didn't need air
no staff on site, but easy check in
room in dire need of update
