Despite the terrible weather in Roatan for our trip, Turquoise Bay was an excellent resort.
We were contacted in advance of our arrival by the hotel asking if we need a shuttle in, and upon arriving we were greeted by lovely guest reception.
All the restaurant staff were amazing and very friendly. I wish we had everyone's names to mention. A few that I can remember, Luis was always attentive and checking if we needed drinks, Edid (I think that's how to spell her name) was so friendly serving food at the buffet. There was another young guy who was often cooking eggs in the morning or pad Thai on Asian night who had a contagious smile. He went out of his way to be friendly. Most of the female wait staff were friendly and dancing to the music and even sang on karaoke night which was a lot of fun to see! And the gentleman with braces who worked the main bar in the games room beside the pool was always looking to help. And Peggy at the front desk was also wonderful. I'm definitely missing some, bit suffice it to say that the staff were excellent and attentive.
