"Great place to stay close to the city centre. Very helpful team and the rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing, great vegetarian breakfast. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you."

"This was lovely hotel with great staff but no elevator which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The staff were gracious in taking up suitcases and there was an “honesty” lounge on the second floor with drinks and food. One just wrote in a book what you used and paid on checkout. A beautiful breakfast was included. The room and bathroom were newly renovated v8 The location was very walkable to the train station and close to the stadium. "

"I spoke to the hotel on the phone, during the day I was going to check in, as I had not received the check in codes to enter the hotel. There is no one at reception after 5pm. They promised to send it to me. They only sent the link to pay for parking and NOT the entry codes. I tried to call during my 3 hour journey to Cardiff, but could not get hold of anyone. "Check in was easy and the reception staff said let them know if I needed anything. I wanted green teabags and asked for them over 2 days about 4 times. Eventually, Georgia, the reception supervisor, put them in the room herself, so I had them for my last evening…… I’d asked for a walk-in shower but the water was lukewarm, and, although they said it had been fixed, it hadn’t, so two disappointing showers in 2 days! The room was clean but the floor was a bit gritty (I was barefoot as I don’t wear...

"It's on a spectacular road of large Victorian houses & the room I stayed in was in keeping: it was large & high ceilinged. It & its shower room were very very clean. The welcome was helpful & friendly. I hope to stay again in the near future."

"The food in the restaurant was very good-nicely cooked. The room upgrade was very good too, with views over Bute Park. What was not so good was having to shower in the bath-no walk-in shower..very tricky for an 80 year old like myself..we had tried for a disabled room, but none were available for both the nights we were there. I think one should be warned about this-outdated and unexpected."

"Very disappointed with the parking, we were charged an additional £20+ just to park our car, after already paying in full for the room. Furthermore, we had a room with a “double bed” which was as many hotels have, two single beds put together. This was not done well and we found a huge gap in the middle of both beds throughout the night, causing us to push the beds back together only for it to happen 2 hours later in the night. Disappointment based on the quality of the rooms and the hotel...
