"What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"In every regard, Harvest Inn exceeded my expectations. Really quiet rooms. Clean, large room. Location near restaurants, grocery store and convenience store. Staff friendly and helpful. Variety of wholesome items for breakfast included with stay. Also, the "HI" is a couple of blocks away from main road, so no traffic noise at this property. "The location is very convenient. I trusted the Wyndham brand, but the hotel was "sketchy" at best. It was a mistake to stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Middletown, NY. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The mattress made a loud creak when I sat on the edge of the bed. The mattress dipped from side to side and top to bottom. "very eventful night, the fire alarm went off at 1230 in the morning. We had to go downstairs for over a half hour till it was turned off. My phone didn't work to call the front desk to see what the siren was for. Then at around 830 an alarm went off again. Turned off in 10 minutes. Very alarming, not conducive to a good night's sleep. The bed was not very comfortable either."

"The first floor doesn’t let you enjoy the view unless you like being exposed to the parking lot. The doors slam very hard when they close on the rooms so you hear loud slams all night. And the gym was being renovated so there was some other noises during the day."

"We did not have the best stay here. Partly it was a matter of timing because there was a diesel truck rally at the dirt track close to the hotel. The noise went on until after 10 pm ftom the track. And a lot of the participants were staying at this hotel and they were out in the parking lot talking very loudly and racing their engines for hours. The front desk couldn’t do anything to get them to settle down so we didn’t get to sleep until early in the morning. Be sure to check the schedule...

"We stayed two nights at this property, it is not a hotel at all, it is rooms for stay. The location is not in a great part of Middletown and looks nothing like the outside photo that is in the listing, and I was not comfortable leaving the property by myself. The first night we returned back, the front door to the building was wide open, we were scared to enter the building, and someone was parked in our designated space. I immediately contacted Expedia and they were not able to reach Norman....

"The room was cleanish. There was what I assume is soap residue on the shower curtain, a few stray hairs in the shower and I did not step on the floor barefoot. It was clean enough for what we needed but I would not book more than a few nights. There is only a mini fridge in the room and microwave in the lobby. Water pressure was good and hot. Overall cleanliness was disappointing but for the price I didn’t expect much better. The staff that I interacted with was kind. "
