"Centrally located to all the sites of downtown Portsmouth. Very comfortable, generously sized room Check in was easy, breakfast was standard. Surprised by price of valet only parking, we paid less in downtown Boston."

"The rooms are quaint and old fashioned. This is due to the extreme age of the building. It is an old Inn and Tavern. The continental breakfast is good, with fresh baking. They even start making pop corn so you can take it with you. The coffee is great as well. If you are around for dinner the menu looks great. You will really enjoy the atmosphere of both the bar and the restaurant. The staff were very warm and friendly as well. This is not a Hilton hotel by any means, but I highly recommend a stay here. You cannot go wrong staying here. If i ever get back in the area I definitely will be staying here."

"Very convenient location to downtown. There was a lot of construction happening at the site so the parking lot and surroundings were not as nice as they could have been however they are making improvements so it is understandable. The price was reasonable and the accommodations were more than adequate. Also a good diner walking distance across the street."

"Without a doubt, the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Hampton Beach. The room was clean, the staff were friendly & helpful, and I didn’t feel like I got ripped off with what I paid. It’s darn near impossible to say those 3 things about any other hotel on the strip."

"My daughter and I stayed just one night. We did have the complimentary breakfast, which was good. The staff there were helpful and friendly. We did not take advantage of fitness room. Our room was clean and comfortable. What kept me from giving this 5 stars was checking in. I checked in early via the text I was sent to “ save time” when we arrived at the hotel. However, at the reception desk, it took even longer than online. I do not feel I saved anytime. During this transaction , the receptionist never said a word to us. After, we were handed our key cards in a card holder with the room number on it, which was good, because we were not told what floor or room we were given, nor where the elevator was. Also, thankfully, I noticed the sign in the lobby for breakfast times, because that was not given either. The rest of the staff was great. The desk is the first thing you encounter when you enter the hotel. They set the tone of the rest of your stay. However, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of parking , and though we are not typically “breakfast people” , we found the breakfast good- lots of options. The area was clean and staff was helpful. The price of our room, ( 2 queen beds) was reasonable."
