"The staff at Middlebrook made me feel like I was cared for from the very beginning. We were driving from St. John's in the rain and wasn't sure if we'd check in on time. I called Wanda from Gander and she assured me that I'd be taken care of, arriving safely was important and not to worry. We made it 15 minutes before the office closed and got to meet this wonderful woman in person. Cabin was super clean, comfortable and well laid out- perfect for our stay. When we checked out- I accidently left a folder with all our travel arrangements behind. Wanda and Susan both were diligent in getting ahold of me to let me know, by text and phone calls. Staying there was like staying with family.... 5 Star Service all the way!! Highly recommend this location for a comfortable stay."

"Lovely private cottage completely finished in knotty pine. Scrupulously clean throughout. Nice large bathroom with great shower. Lots of fluffy towels. Comfortable king sized bed with good pillows. Nice sitting area with TV and couch and chair. The only suggestion is that the good sized fridge lacked ice cube trays and an ice bucket. Also if you visit in hot months (do they exist in Newfoundland?) the windows open to the Main Street so you might have some traffic noise that was no issue for us in September."

"Stayed in starfish suite. Loved the bathtub for soaking and king bed was comfy. Kitchen had what we needed. Breakfast was disappointing. Because unit is not on the water side of the street there are quite a few cars coming and going across the road in the day so not pristine water views."
