Det var inte bemannat senare på kvällen så vi som hade svårt att säga bestämd ankomst tid kände att vi störde även om de anpassade sig till oss som kom 21.30, vilket ju var positivt. "

Yes, as others have said the rooms are a little dated, but do not let that put you off, the hotel is amazing and very clean."
"Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne....

"The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the town. Easily walkable to the castle. It has its own free parking in a lot a short walk away. (Initially we didn’t know this and found parking tricky on a busy Sunday afternoon).
Our room was really spacious, with quality furnishings and a big bathroom. It was a little old fashioned, but in a charming way.
Dinner on the terrace was a highlight. The food, service and atmosphere were great. It’s clearly a popular spot.

"The reception area was convenient and the check in process was easy. The gentleman escorted me to the room and explained which doors would be available during evening hours. He also gave a brief explanation of how everything in the room worked (lights, air conditioning) and pointed out the refrigerator as well as the coffee maker and condiments.
