"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"It was a vey old place and the rooms looked very old and broken and used. But it was only for a cheap quick stay for the night so didn’t expect anything more than that actually. Reception offers to make frozen pizzas in their pizza oven, the result is amazingly good and just what we needed after a day of travelling on the road. "
