"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Deutsches Haus. We stayed in the historic Deutsches Haus building, right in the heart of the medieval old town. The building itself is beautiful and full of character. The hallways almost feel like walking through an art museum, while the rooms have been completely updated. Our room was outstanding, with a great view over the square, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful modern bathroom and shower. Staying inside the medieval city walls was a fantastic experience....

"Convenient location. However, there is a church bell that goes off every hour, including overnight! It makes no sense. And because there is no air conditioning, you must leave windows open, so you are guaranteed not to sleep! There is also no coffee in room, you must head down to the restaurant and pay for coffee. Some staff was dry, with a hint of sarcasm. Don’t bother complaining. If you don’t mind any of this, you’ll enjoy it."
