"The motel is older, but it has been updated and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived the front desk person was exceptional and made sure throughout our stay that we had everything we needed. The motel was easy walking distance to the restaurants, the shopping district, parks, and the boardwalk. We had an exceptional stay at the Flamingo."

"Last minute booking here for us- it is a home in a residential area that has been converted into a “ hostel” type accommodation. There is a restaurant downstairs and it is very close to downtown so the location was great. The property manager was helpful and kind. The only negative thing about the property is I would assume because the building was built in 1908 the plumbing is old so there is an odd sewage smell that comes and goes. "We have been traveling and using Expedia for over 20 years. We booked this hotel via Expedia more than a month before our stay with a “pay at hotel” rate. The hotel decided to cancel our reservation in the morning of our arriving due to some cc pre authorization issue without any attempt whatsoever of contacting us. "It was beautiful large home with plenty of space for 15 of us in a quiet neighborhood. Super clean and comfortable. They have a TON of games and unique amenities, like a towel warmer, beach chairs, extra outdoor tables and chairs. A couple things that were mildy inconvenient was the thermostat is locked (we understand why) but it would get super cold in the house.
