"Fabulous location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Very helpful polite and friendly staff at reception, in the bar and restaurant, and at breakfast. We stayed in the old building rather than the annex and, as is often the case with old buildings, there were some quirks but nothing that was a problem. We would happily stay there again if in the area."

"Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street "

"Images are not like the rooms! Shared Bathroom which i refused to use. Check in is down the road and then you have a 5min walk to the actual location. No where to park so cost £15.00 to park in NCP. Defo wouldnt stay again"

"Much better than last time I stayed, Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay. Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but functional. There is no parking at the hotel or near area which is very problematic. The breakfast was extra but a reasonable cost at £25 for two people. The egg was over cooked and the bacon was unusual."

"Clean and quiet, comfortable bed. Internet didn't work and the TV could only pick up one channel though. "

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Room was broken into . Door was not strong - split in half. How dod someone get through security door? I expressed my concerns but no-one bothered to respond. I had asked what they had done about it. Did they even report to police. Then later I locked myself out of room. There is no reception so was asked to go to another hotel to pick up a key. I spent £19 on Uber (return) and didn’t even have shoes, and it was raining. Sheet didn’t fit mattress properly so kept coming off. Trains disturbed...

"Good parking spaces behind the property, very clear information about finding the property. The apartment was spacious, very clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. We got some advice on where to find a nice local pub, and ate in the centre close to the property. Overall absolutely lovely."

"Roy and another young lady were there to check us into the two-level luxury room and very kind and helpful. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. AC kept us cool in a heatwave. Excellent espresso maker and tea kettle. Refrigerator with real milk inside was a nice touch. Centrally located. Everything you could need easily walkable. A very beautiful medieval church and graveyard within a minute’s walk. It’s on a side street so it was quiet, even on the weekend. If we find ourselves in...
